"My name is Carter Price. I am of Aleut descent. The Aleuts are the indigenous people from the Aleutian Islands. I’ve lived in Unalaska, Alaska for 20 years now. As I have grown older I have been able to appreciate where I come from and what it means to be Aleut.

Sharing my heritage is important to me, as the Unangan Language is slowly fading in our culture. With my work at Sámi museum and Northern Lapland Nature Centre SIIDA I have learned and am still learning the Saami Culture and can relate to the struggles and similarities within each of our cultures.

Wednesday 26th June 2019 5.15 pm I will be giving a presentation on my traditions and where I come from. "

Free entry, Welcome!
