Researcher and Archaeologist Elected for the Cultural Environment Unit of the Sámi Museum Siida

The Sámi Cultural Environment Unit becomes part of the Sámi Museum Siida’s permanent operations.


In its meeting, the Board of the Sámi Museum Foundation elected Eija Ojanlatva, archaeologist and Master of Philosophy, from Inari as an archaeologist and Päivi Magga, Master of Philosophy, from Vuotso as a researcher for the Museum. There were four applicants for the archaeologist’s office and six for the researcher’s office.


Magga and Ojanlatva will start in their positions on 1 March 2015.
