During the day, you can look at the Skolt Sámi Heritage House and the root-sewn boat under guidance. You can also try rowing the traditional boat on the pond near the Heritage House.

Furthermore, there will be handicraft demonstrations by the Skolt Sámi Heritage House from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and an opportunity to learn the quadrille, a traditional dance of the Skolt Sámi, from 1 to 2 p.m.

During the day, you can also discuss hiking and outdoor excursions at the Heritage House. The programme for children includes a plant trail which the children and the families can take on their own.

By the Skolt Sámi Heritage House, there will also be a café from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a flea market where anyone can sell goods they no longer need (bring your own table).

The Skolt Sámi Cultural Foundation Summer Exhibition is open at the Village Workshop from 10 a.m to 4 p.m, while the Skolt Sámi Heritage House is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Sevettijärvi Day is part of the programme of both the Inari Weeks and the jubilee of the conservation areas of Northern Lapland.
