A number of changes have taken place in the Sámi Museum Siida recently. The Siida Building has been extended and renovated and the main exhibition renewed. The Sámi Museum continues with changes and new strategic solutions. The administration of the Museum will be renewed as follows at the turn of the year.

Museum Director Sari Valkonen will become the financial and administrative manager from 1 January 2023. Archaeologist Eija Ojanlatva will be an acting museum director until 31 December 2023. There is a vacancy for fixed-term personnel manager.
