”Rohveettain kautta on kirjoitettu, että tieto kattoo maailmasta ja on jo nyt kaonnut. Ekyptissäkin oli ennen paljon suuria tietäjiä, ja täällä Riestossa oli Polvari-Jaakko, kuolheet ovat kaikki…” Näin kirjoittaa Sompio-teoksessaan Samuli Paulaharju Sompion ukon sanoneen. Paulaharju ei kerro Sompion ukon nimeä, mutta eiköhän siteerauksen uskalla Inarilaisia 2 -kirjan esittelytekstissä mainita. Ovathan Sompion ja Inarin veret aikojen saatossa paljon sekoittuneet. Tiedä vaikka olisi Ivalojokivarressa Koppelon kylässä asuneen Mutenia-äijin sukulaisia. Tarinankertojat ovat katoamassa.
