Siida’s annual pass benefits
The annual passes are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
The annual pass allows you to visit Siida’s exhibitions every day if you so wish. Siida’s annual pass also gives admission to Arktikum in Rovaniemi and Science Centre Tietomaa in Oulu. You will also be able to enter Siida if you have an annual pass from Arktikum or Tietomaa.
Museum Card benefits
The Museum Card is a common entrance ticket to Finnish museums that is valid for one year after the first museum visit. The card is personal and costs 79 euros. The card is an entrance ticket to over 300 museums around Finland.
Accessibility
Personal assistants for the disabled are not charged an entrance fee. Service dogs (guide, support, hearing and hypo alert dogs) are welcome at Siida and the Open-air Museum.
Siida’s exhibitions, customer services, Siida Shop, and Restaurant Sarrit are accessible by wheelchair. The open-air museum is not accessible by wheelchair.
In Siida’s exhibitions, unique museum artefacts form a central part of the exhibits of the Sámi Museum, and their maintenance in the best possible state is of primary importance for us as the keepers of Sámi cultural heritage. Pets may carry dust, dirt and pest insects into the facilities. Therefore, guests are not allowed to visit the exhibitions with their pets.
The buildings and the archaeological cultural heritage of the open-air museum of the Sámi Museum forms a unique whole that tells about the settlement of the Sámi Homeland. The area has been protected by the Antiquities Act. Because we want to safeguard the maintenance of the buildings and the ancient monuments of the area, guests are not allowed to visit the open-air museum with their pets.
