Purpose of the processing of the personal data
The surveillance is for the safety of Sámi museum and Nature center Siida’s and restaurant Sarrit’s facilities. Surveillance has been indicated with appropriate signs.
Purpose for recording surveillance is to ensure the safety of property and people working and visiting the area.
Description of the group or groups of data subjects
The file contains surveillance footage of people inside and outside of Siida, and footage of vehicles on the grounds of Siida.
Surveillance equipment is digital, and in use 24h/day and footage is saved on a hard drive. Surveillance does not record audio.
Description of the principles in accordance to which the data file has been secured
Data source is recorded video surveillance footage. The surveillance is active inside and on the grounds of Siida.

Data is not extradited or transferred regularly. Upon request footage will be given to the police.

Description of the principles in accordance to which the data file has been secured
Video surveillance control center and hard drives are located in a locked server room, with restricted access. Access to files is secured by passwords. Surveillance operates within Sámi museum Siida’s internal network and has been secured from outside use.
Surveillance is only accessed when needed. All data is handled confidentially, and all staff is obligated to professional confidentiality.
Data is kept for about 3 weeks, after which it is removed.
