Summer at Siida

June – September 2021

During this exceptional year our legendary Open-Air museum is also a place for different events and exhibitions.

From Monday June the 14th, a museum hostess is present in the Open-Air Museum every week Mon–Fri, 11:00–12:00 and 15:00–16:00, until the end of August. (Exception: Midsummer’s Eve 25.6.) Changes are possible.

The barn has been made into an exhibition site again after 20 years! The Zero Arctic exhibition deals with a research project that examined how to benefit from traditional knowledge and the ideas of traditional construction in designing climate-friendly buildings.
